I don't identify at all with the name of this MAC Girls palette.
Prissy Princess? Come on! I don't think I'one thousand overnice, and I know I don't act similar a ?? princess. Although El Hub would probably beg to differ, LOL!
Now, if this had been called Punk Rock Princess, or Punk Princess? Hell, yeah, I'd merits that championship in a heartbeat! 🙂
MAC Prissy Princess'southward tantalizing types of taupe
OK, airheaded name bated, I like the colors in this palette, which is, in a style of speaking, a meditation on taupe.
Satin Taupe, specifically.
Seriously, I could habiliment Satin Taupe nigh every twenty-four hour period, simply I wouldn't have to, thank you to MAC Prissy Princess, considering it's like someone started with a pan of Satin Taupe, and tweaked it in unlike ways.
So, nosotros've mainly got a bunch of taupes that are complemented by cool and neutral browns, pink, a fleck of gray and a sliver of silver.

It looks like it'due south designed for absurd skin tones, right? But it isn't as cool-toned as I thought. There isn't that much gray in the mix, so I actually do call up that warm skin tones could rock it too.
If you've been reading MBB for a while, then you lot probably already know that ane) my true cat is a world-renowned kitty supermodel, and 2) I believe that cool-toned taupes and browns can totally flatter warm pare tones.
For me, it'south all almost the crease, and mine isn't deep, so I wearable cool browns and taupes to play with light and shadow on my lids and create the illusion of a deeper-set eye.

Cracking blending
Only like the shadows in Mischief Minx, Rockin' Rebel and Way Frontward, these are easy to paint with, and like shooting fish in a barrel to blend into each other and other shadows, regardless of which stop we're talking about.Near of the shadows in Prissy Princess are Satins and Mattes.
It's easy to take these Satins into the Mattes or the Foils, or whichever other way around. MAC really seems to take upped the quality of their LE palettes lately.
Small-scale fallout alert: Spoil Yourself
It'southward been the only red flag I've seen — nighttime brown Spoil Yourself, which looks a niggling similar MAC Brun, exhibits more fallout than the other shades. The first fourth dimension I used it, I was going for a dark chocolate smoky eye, just I went a little crazy dusting it on my lids and ended up with some on my cheekbones and lower lash lines.
But something to annotation, but I just notice it with this shade.

I'm coveting this desk…
I popped into Crate & Barrel to become a gift for a friend terminal weekend and bumped into this desk-bound (which I've been wanting for years) called the Strut.
UGH. I love it and so much! I love the angles and the legs and the glass top and everything nigh it (except the price). Commonly, I wouldn't be into a glass superlative table (because, how sturdy tin can that exist, really?), but I bought these clear chairs from Cost Plus concluding year and love how they don't ataxia your visual infinite. I hateful, you can encounter that the chairs are there, obviously, but because they're articulate…they almost aren't there. Sort of?
Anyway, I like them.
My office is small, so I feel similar a clear table top would have the same effect. Unfortunately…this desk-bound is $800, which is crazy expensive, so it's not similar I'g going to be going there whatsoever time before long. But I'm going to start dropping hints for El Hub. Perhaps I tin can collect Crate & Barrel gift cards and save upwardly for it.
